“Never give in, never give in, never; never; never; never – in nothing, great or small, large or petty – never give in except to convictions of honor and good sense.” –Winston Churchill

A short documentary that has recently gone viral is about a 9 year old who made the best of going to work with his father at their used auto parts store.  Instead of complaining that there was nothing to do, Caine used his imagination and built his own arcade with some of the cardboard boxes that were sitting around.  He had everything from the crane game to mini basketball, which he created himself!!!

Caine’s friends didn’t believe him and he didn’t have many customers, though Caine’s creativity inspired a loyal customer Nirvan to film a short video and utilize social media and spread the word!!  Nirvan set up a surprise flash mob as an event on facebook and within an hour after posting the event, they gained media attention, ultimately hitting the front page of Reddit!!! Take a look at the video to see what happened next…..

Needless to say, Caine received his wish to run his arcade and “let people play”!!!  We can all learn something from his innocence, creativity and drive.  Life is going to challenge us, though you should never let it get the best of you!!  Follow your passion and don’t stop until you achieve your goals!!

“Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all.” – Dale Carnegie
