Sunday, Nov 3rd | 8:50AM | First Presbyterian Church (Whippany, 494 Route 10)

Come join us as Don Kiddoo relays the remarkably true story for Parson Green, 275 years after he experienced the dream.  Parson Jacob Green was the Presbyterian clergyman for the Hanover congregation from 1738 (at age 16) until his death in 1790. He was renowned as “The preacher and the teacher, the doctor and the proctor, the miller and the distiller.”  It’s a vivid tale of religious experience he had at age 16, in 1728 (275 years ago to the month), from Parson Jacob Green’s own published autobiography, remembered at age 55, nearly verbatim. This “local history tell” is presented by the Christian Education Committee of First Presbyterian Church of Whippany.
