Zig Ziglar has an interesting name for his alarm clock – He calls it an opportunity clock. When it goes off in the morning he has hundreds of opportunities in front of him that he can choose to either take advantage of or ignore.
Wouldn’t it be a smart idea if we all went to bed and set our opportunity clock to get us up in the morning. It’s certainly cozy and warm to stay under those sheets in the morning, though the world is here for our taking and it’s our job to take advantage of it!!! Let’s wake up tomorrow to an opportunity clock, roll out of bed and put our feet on the floor with a smile knowing that there is a day of potential ahead of us….
